The Big Announcement!

The big news – I’m moving! Not physically, but I’m moving my blog. This idea has been in my mind for a long time now. Because, I’m sorry, but my name does not make for a very interesting (or memorable) blog. This move wasn’t supposed to happen for a while, until I got all the kinks worked out, but then I suddenly realized that I was fast approaching my 100th post. So I decided “hey, no time like the present” and I thought reaching that coveted number was as good a moment as any to celebrate. It’s already happened. I already have a couple of posts up there. And there is one heck of a contest you don’t want to miss (that's the celebration for the 100th post). I know it is annoying resetting your RSS readers. But it’s just one click, I promise and I won’t be doing it again for a long long time. I promise I will make it worth your while. The contest is already up. :D

Feature Fun Friday - Dust of 100 Dogs Trailer!

Woot, number 101 baby. Where's my dalmatians? :) Okay, I promise I'll get off my happy-highhorse now. Here is the Part Two I promised you. This is the only other book trailer that I've (currently) seen that has piqued my interest enough to actually go out and want to read it. It doesn't have the same atmosphere as The Book Thief one did, but I love the voice over, and the dialogue is so funny and relatable. It's a fine line for book trailers, but this one succeeded. Still have yet to read it, but it's on my list. As soon as my bookstore can get it in. Grr. Here is Dust of 100 Dogs by A S King! Have a fantastic weekend everyone!

*Squee!!!* Pant pant - I can't believe I made it!!!

It's my 100th post!!! *Ahem* I would like to thank the Academy and - oh, wait, this is the wrong place? Oh. *steps down*

But no, seriously, it's been a long stretch for me. I know of so many of you who have been blogging for less time than I have and are well past those precious triple digits (woot woot!) but I'm so glad I made it.

And to celebrate, I've got something HUGE in mind. I've been planning this for forever it seems like. It's not quite ready yet, so hold tight for just a little bit, but it should be really soon. I'm so excited, I am dying to tell you. . . but I can't. Must. Hold. Strong. But it will be pure awesomeness. But I had to tell you. I am in the ranks of the triple-digiters and still going strong! Boo-ya baby! See you for Feature Fun Friday tomorrow!

*runs of squeeing all the way*

T-shirts Rocking 2.0

Okay, I had such a good time finding those t-shirts on threadless that I have to post a few more that weren't in the first post. Some, are not literary at all. And I don't care. They are just that stinkin' cool. Here we go!

And this one is the best of all. It's called "Spoiler"

Oh, if only I had the money. *Sigh*

Feature Fun Friday - The Book Thief trailer

Here is another rare gem among book trailers (I try and find the good ones for you;) - The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak. This is a simply incredible narrative, about a young girl who is a kleptomaniac, for books, during WWII in Germany. And even more compelling, it is narrated by Death himself. Now, I, like many of you, am not usually swayed by book trailers. For me, they are usually like a special feature on a DVD, a nice little surprise. If you can find a good one, of course. Otherwise, I think authors just shoot themselves in the foot by making me not want to read it because of the trailer. But this is a good trailer, a very good trailer at that, and only one of two that has ever compelled me to read the book after watching it. I will be showing you the second one next week. Have an amazing weekend everyone. And have some fun. :)

T-shirts that rock. And roll.

I'm a sucker for awesome tees, and I found some that are of particular literary merit. Thank you threadless. You rock my world.

And this one is one of my all-time favorites. I need it. Someone needs to write this.

Feature Fun Friday - Animaniacs take on Hamlet

The Animaniacs need no introduction. Neither does Hamlet. Combined? Well, I'll just let you decide. I've got my popcorn. You got yours? :)
